Long time never go for jogging.....

大家好!

各位好,,,我以更新网页。猜我今天做了什么?在家坐了整天,下午我出去跑步。

Dear readers, Im updating my blog again cos I have mood hahaha and guess what I did today? I just went for jogging in the afternoon after whole day staying at home. The weather seems gonna rain but we just tried our luck whether we have chance for sport or not. I went to the stadium with my younger brother. We went for jogging together but I had my own way..... For ur info, this is my first time jogging since many months ago.... haha I also cant remember when was the last time I went for jogging. Normally I will go to the stadium, the usual place for me to do sports activity including swimming. Haizzzz I didnt go for swimming these few months. Im waiting for my salary's claim.

There were many ppls warming up by the time we were arrived. Because today is Friday, so what can we expect kan, govt staffs cuti. Anyway, it was such a tiring day after finished jogging. Cos long time didnt go there, so both of my legs felt so "kencang"..... better not cramp haha. Though I feel a bit painful, seems dat Im more addicted for jogging hehe. So, now I would like to have one day off and the following day, maybe I shud try jogging in the early morning.....where? Perhaps at Tasik Lama.... and this coming Sunday, I would like to go for hiking at Bukit Shahbandar.....hopefully Im not buzy that day.....siok la, yeahhhzz.

Another vacation in Miri

Just one day after December begins, my fren brought me to Miri for a vacation and we spent overnite there. It was such an enjoyable experience as we stayed at guesthouse @homestay for the first time. The rental cost was really cheap about $65, got big room with 2 king size bed, got 2 or 3 bathrooms and also small living room to watch tv. They also got wi-fi, hmm was unlucky not bringing my laptop haha. If Im not mistaken, the house got 6 or 7 rooms altogether and our room was no.2. Unfortunately, I didnt have the chance to take photo inside the house/ our room.... Anyway, I got their business card in which I can come again in the future if I would like to. The trip was fun though.

First of all, on the day before the trip, my fren gave me call at 6.30 p.m but I was already slept from 5 pm until 7.30pm when he tried to contact me again. Lol, I hate the sounds of handfon while I was sleeping hehe. Owh my fren just wanna ask me if I got any query or not.... He scold why I tidur lagi that nite cos he was worried if I might goin to sleep so late since I already tidur kan. Then I took shower and had my dinner with my family. So what will I do next? Hmm of course la, to withdraw money from the ATM haha. Suddenly, I received SMS from him... reminding me to being passport, shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste. Lol, I replied him "OK, no prob. I already planned everything including my medicine, mesti bawa lah... I dun wan to behave last minute person which I used to be haha but then I have to stop by at Rimba Dept Store first to buy tooth paste... Nah, ada tah sudah ku spent, boring la!!" Need to save for next day actually haha. Am I stingy? Lol

I cant stop thinking about the trip as that is my first trip to Miri since months ago. I watched TV and went online as usual before going to the bed. I packed my stuffs such as clothes, etc. This time I dun use luggage as we only stay for one night, not many things to carry. So, I bring one schoolbag and another Amway bag (for my clothes haha). I set my alarm at 5.30am. We planned to leave my house early at 6.30am. A bit tired for me..... selalu akhir tidur. At last, I slept around 2 am, just after I finished listening to songs via handfon. But I dunno la, feel like quite worried if I cannot wake up early hehee nanti my fren scold me la.

While I slept in the middle of dawn, I got a bad dream. The dream started I was teaching my students for evening class. Suddenly when I wrote notes on the board, one of the students also wrote on the same board, next to me. I was shocked....how dare this student to come forward and he was able to write chinese characters as well... Lol.... So we end in quarrel until I heard bunyi ayam berkokok hehee, terus ku check my hp, and it was alreasy 5.20 am. Quickly, I brushed my teeth and went downstair to take out "popia" from the freezer to cool it down. Nanti mahu di goreng bah untuk kan d makan while on the way to KB hehe. My fren arv my house on time before 6.30 am. And I have to rush lagi kan makan ubat. So we left house exactly according to our plan....and we arrived the immigration around 8.30 - 9.00 am.

To make the story short, ermm nothing much I can say here... I just enjoyed the trip cos most of the time I was being dropped at the shopping malls such as Bintang Plaza and Boulevard. For instance, on 1st day trip...my fren dropped me at Bintang Plaza from 10am to 12 noon. And then we were having lunch together at one of the Chinese restaurants. Then we checked in at the homestay....like I said before, it was nice place to stay. We took shower and after that, since he had buzy time with his work in the afternoon, I just requested him to drop me at Boulevard la....so I did shopping from 1pm till 5pm. Very tiring actually. What can u expect??? Pusing2 keliling...nothing to buy also, lol.

Although Boulevard is quite big, but I get bored easily bah, maybe there wasnt any attraction there such as expo, etc. I sat on the bench a few times as my leg got injured oledi hehe..what else, sakit tapak kaki ku. Indeed, I really feel wanna go for foot reflexology since my leg sudah sakit2. But I end with body massage for just 30 mins... which cost around RM$30. At first, I thought no need to massage. I tahan sabar la...waiting for my frens to fetch me but since left with few hours lagi, so I made up my mind to go massage around 3pm. Here comes the funny thing about the massage centre. The owner asked one of the ladies to massage me.... I dunno who will do bah. As far as I know, the masseurs are all local Chinese. Suddenly, I was astonished when an old lady assigned to do the massage for me.. Lol. Seems like she is in the 50s years old (and I dun tink she is chinese, perhaps Indonesian or filipino). But the fact is she is "ugly" haha jahat jua aku ah. How can I feel comfortable if I was being massaged by such an old lady?? OMG!! I had to request other masseur to massage me. Then come another young lady la who massaged me just about 10 mins only cos there was other customer who also demanded a lady masseur to give them foot massage.. So a guy masseur then continued the job. For only 20 mins left, my back feel so painful especially my left ribs. I dunno what they call that...but my fren said that kind of massage was called "kuasha" in chinese. It left red stretch marks on my back, macam acupuncture. Really pain... But I feel good. Anyhow, next time if Im going to Miri again, I shud try for 1 hour body massage which cost about RM$55.

Then my friend fetched me around 5pm and we went back to homestay. We took shower and had a rest. Me, as usual, after tired walking the whole day, sure wanna sleep hehe. So while I slept at 7pm....my friend wakes me up....haitzzz so annoying. I threw the pillow on him. Haha. He wanted to wake me up so that I wont sleep so late that nite. But what to do kan.... Im such a lazy guy. We went to Servay that night and had dinner together at Malay Restaurant. It can be said that the area where we were staying was so buzy at night time.

We back to homestay at 10pm and by that time, both of us were extremely tired. We rest in the room; my fren was reading a story book while I wrote some notes. Then, we watched tv and chatting before sleep. The next day, we woke up around 7am and we had breakfast at the 2020 Restaurant, the famous restaurant in Miri.....especially Dimsum. I heard ppl said the dimsum wasnt nice but still got lots of ppl hang out there...strange ah hehe. Again in that early morning, my fren had a buzy time with his work, etc...so I hold the key and the card of the main entrance of the homestay. I dunno what to do actually... selain dari shopping di Servay lagi, jalan2 melihat2 baju, etc. I went back to homestay at 10.30am where my fren suddenly gave me a call, saying that we wanna do check out. Aiya...so rushing. I had to pack up everything and helped my fren to put some of his stuffs into his bag. Lol... once he arrived, we had to say goodbye to the auntie (the caretaker) who in charge of the homestay.

Since we still got time and it was still early to go back Brunei, I decided to do final shopping at Bintang Plaza, especially to buy books at Popular bookshop hehe. My fren, on the other hand, was having lunch with his frens. Once he was ready to fetch me after my lunch (I just makan di Sugarbun alone, but ok...freedom bah), I asked him if he can bring me to Boulevard again as I wanna buy 2 sketches book for my niece and nephew. Also, with the money that I left, I bought a few beef burger and also fish burger for my family. Afterwards, we left Miri around 1.30pm.

So by the time we arrived Kuala Belait, it was still early...around 3 pm. So my fren, once more, decided to bring me makan for hi-tea at Seria....to a Chinese restaurant. I cant remember what its name but this restaurant is famous for his "Pau"... I finally arrived my house at 4.40pm.... ermm what a new experience for me...staying at guesthouse and also do shopping alone most of the time ..... Lol. But Im really enjoyed the trip. Thanks to my fren. Here are few photos and video that I can take during the trip, unfortunately I dun get the chance to take my own photo as both of us are buzy, doing own job. Eventhough we are free, but maybe I forgot to take and dun have the mood to take also :) Basically, these photos/ videos are near our places only hahaa. So enjoy it!!

End of month, 2008....

Just few days ago, we already entered December, the last month of this year...there must be many sweet and painful memories. I dun have the mood to blogging actually; I can say Im really buzy almost everyday though I still didnt get a job, but if Im free anytime, I just watch tv and browsing, checking mails, thats why Im too lazy to blogging.

Talking about this month, there will be many meanings to ppl around the world. Likewise, the Bruneians are far having great time with their families too especially the students who will be enjoying one month school holidays (excluded the first day of New Year). That mean many school children will definitely hang out at the Malls, other shopping complexes or wherever it is, some ppls said these kind of notti teens brought in bad impression amongst the tourists. Like last week, I still remembered there were many ppls crowded at the Mall especially the kids and these young teenagers just wasting their time "lepak2" at the Cineplex and smoking outside the main entrance. Omg, whatever happen la to these young kids nowadays.... None of my business either. Anyhow, the good news about this school holidays is that there will be no more traffic jams at school areas especially in BANDAR or Jln Muara during noon time.

Indeed, there will be more public holiday such as Hari Raya AidilAdha, and Christmas Day, which will be arrived soon. And I keep on counting these days.....perhaps we are planning which next destination will we go. Maybe I will follow my family to Labuan, Limbang or even Miri. In my point of view, December is such a unique month which ppl cant wait actually. Why??? Certainly because of Brunei GRAND SALE is just started, in particular, school stuffs are having large discounts such as books, stationeries and schoolbags. What's more, Bonus will be out soon.... for those who work, CONGRATS....lol, nothing to do with me hehe. Just wanna advice, make use of ur money...dun spend so much to unnecessary items like myself. Just buy what u really need!! I have been waiting for my claim since August which I think Im gonna save it for any important purposes. Travelling???? I would like to travel again but then, I dun think I will spend on goods, maybe just windows shopping. I still really need a stable job eventhough as part-timer as long as for my backup.

I have been suffered for few months already and dunno until when I can tahan with such budget problem.... Honestly speaking, I owed my fren and my mum whom I really feel sad cos I trouble them. Its all started with paying the DST $25 annual fee. Then paying the $68 espeed bill for October and also pay $50 deposit for our family photo for my graduation. And now, I still havent pay the extra $100 and November espeed bill, bla bla bla.....banyak kan d bayar. Also, I need to develop more passport photo, to print any application letters and CV/ copies of my school certificates. All need $$$.....Hmm kinda stress. What shall I do next??? Sabar saja lah. I will never ever try to hang out at restaurant again if my claim arrived..... It will be a different story la if I got a new job. Its all my faults! Always eat outside..... haitzzzz. Moreover, it has been a long time I didnt go for swimming and watching movies.. WTH!!! Cos both need $$$. Never mind, just pray that I can get a job as soon as possible.

Now, I rather stay at home, becoming "baby-sitter"...hmm lots of kids at home during the day due to their school holidays. At night time, as usual, I have been buzy watching my favourite Indonesian drama "Cinta Fitri" around 9.30pm and after that, I went online as usual...checking emails, msn, browsing, etc. Yeahhh it does feel great watching tv with family together everynight, makan light food sambil tengok tv haha... also joking with them.

Nevertheless, will update my blog soon if I got the right mood.... lol

Monday 1 December 2008

Its Monday...such a tired day

Got many things to do today; felt so fatigue with those sending letters. It is obvious, rite, Im so desperate for job... haha as u know la, Im facing a BIG BIG FINANCIAL problem now *sigh. Errr Im lazy to blogging actually, no mood. Anyhow, I will just summarise what I did the whole day in the following:

Morning:
  • woke up at 08.45 a.m. after being miskol by my younger bro. He wanna bring me to go CHMS this morning. I was having my breakfast around 09.20 a.m., just after I finished showering haha.
  • went to UBD at 09.30 a.m. to get application form from the admin block, yahooo. Still many la, I thought almost finished haha lol since the vacancy as "Assistant Registrar" was advertised on Weekend Borneo Bulletin, there must be thousands of graduates hunting for the job.
  • then, we went ahead to Yihfa Computer at Qlap to buy ink printer (Gosh, I had to borrow my mum's money - it costs $29) So sad...really disappointed. After all, I always trouble my mum this few days. Hopefully, I will get my claim as soon as possible and I wont ever spend on many things again.
  • We went home then, and I printed for the new CV that I just created to send to Chung Hwa School @CHMS in BSB.
  • We rushed to the school; it was so damn quiet and I believed many teachers take on leave. I sent my application letters with CV together with the copies of certificates to the counsellor as the human resource manager was just resigned. Ok...no need for me to elaborate on this issue (too privacy I guess).
  • Soon after CHMS matter is settled, we went to the Labour Department in BSB area too. I just wanted to renew and extend my "labour card". This is my first time at the dept in BSB area. While I waited for my card, suddenly I met my old friend, Hjh. Noraini, who worked there :) We just had a short chit chat talking about applying jobs. Afterwards, I was so buzy looking at the advertisement on the wall....and without hesitating, I also wanted to apply by asking the form from the admin staffs there. Hehehe. Suddenly, heavy rainfall.
  • We reached home about 12 noon.... hmm quite tired also.

Afternoon:

  • I was so buzy again modifying all the CV and printing my application letters which I need to send in the afternoon.
  • At 2 p.m. we left house and went to Photocopy shop at Rimba to p/copy all my claim for evening class. This is the last claim I made for this year.... sad :)
  • Then, we went to the Continuing Education Section to send my claim.
  • After that, we off to Old Airport area to submit my SPA2 at the SPA and also to send the letters to post office. Unfortunately, I could only send few letters only as I dont have enuff pcopy passport photo. Haitzzz why ah, during this time, we have to submit all the non-returnable passport photo. It needs money worrr....And I dun have enuff budget. So next time la before the closing date, I will send it again.
  • Before going home, we went to GIANT; actually, I want to buy some bread for my mum but I dunno which one. Normally, we go to Mum Bakery but at GIANT, I dunno which one should I buy for her. So we end up buying Kolomee Seafood near De Rimba Complex, the one that is near the p/copy shop. Lol, tmw my mum have to go for "fasting" as she gonna have appointment at Rimba's clinic. So we shared the kolomee.
  • Online, checking email and msn around 4.45 p.m. But I can online for half an hour as my eyes already tired. Perhaps because I always sleep late. So I decided to take enuff rest.

Evening:

  • I was woken up by my fren's calling at 7.45 p.m. I didnt realise thats I received two miskol from him. He just wanna tell me what shud I bring for tmw Miri trip, yeahhh... I can't wait. Its been a long time I didnt go there. Furthermore, now Im sure its crazy SALE at Miri. So what else.....shopping2 la eventhough no pocket money lol.... just joking.
  • Nothing much I did in the evening. Just had my dinner at 8 p.m. and then preparing myself to watch TV, hehe my favourite Indonesian Drama but NOT Dangdut la haha.
  • Soon as the drama was over, I was buzy packing my stuffs for the Miri trip, overnite there. Going to be a good trip, I guess!

PMB results via SMS registration

Cool, now the technology is becoming more advanced. When I studied at Uni, we can get our exam results by registering online via SMS. Once we receive, we will be charged $0.50 cents if Im not mistaken. Last week, PSR results were already published. Myeldest nephew passed the exam, though he couldnt score 5A, but I support him....thats just the beginning. There will be more internal exam such as GCE O Level and GCE A Level. (O Level = Ordinary Level for Form 5 and A Level = Advance Level for Form 6). Usually, the hardest exam of all of these is A-Level. Believe it or not, you can ask your friends. Even, I also struggled for 2 years, sigh. Luckily I managed to get all 3 A. Unfortunately, not 4 A. I didnt take General Paper (GP) haha.

So to all my tuition students who are waiting for their PMB results, I wish u all can get distinction.... hmm credits also ok lo. Hopefully u can be promoted to Form 4.

No choice...

Went to First Emporium Seri again with my mum, my younger brother and my nephew. At first, my mum decided to leave Izad (my nephew) at home but no one can look after him, so we got no choice la. Bawa ia saja since we cannot rely on our "anakbuah". They even scared to stay at home. Hari kan hujan, tapi mendung saja, so we continue jln2 saja. First, buying telor masin at kumbang pasang sana dekat Hua Ho lama, then only go to Batu Satu. Haitzzz rasa tak larat bawa my nephew. Cos he couldnt stay calm, always want this and that, sesak ku :) We know la kanak2 kan, tapi very stress jua, inda kami sanggup hehe.

I took a pic of myself and also Izad, kes boring la.

It's an organizer!

Last night, I opened the gift that was given by Rohana and my niece punya guessing was right. It is an organizer. Cool... Thanks a lot Rohana. I hope you never give up in studying Chinese hehe. It's a tough language anyway, it needs time to memorise the characters and the vocabulary, but Im sure you can. Once more, thanks ya.

Active Learning or Passive Learning?

In education field, being as teacher, we shud know which learning approach is the best for our student, either 'active' or 'passive' learning. Actually, Im puzzled for what reason I must post for this topic. The main purpose I want to discuss these 2 approaches because since few months ago, there were different point of view between my friend and I regarding about this issue. In fact, I really prefer to have active learners rather than passive. Quite shock for me as we have different opinion when my friend insisted he rather prefer to have passive learners haha. So, before going further, lets examine whats the differences between these two.

Active learning is engaging with the material being learnt. A basic easy to understand definition would probably be that active learning is basically you have to move around to learn things, such as learning with games. Passive is more like, you just hear it and it sticks.

When learning is active, students do most of the work. They used their brains...studying ideas, solving problems, and applying what they learn. Right?? Furthermore, active learning is fast-paced, fun, supportive and personally engaging...such as learning something well through hearing, seeing it, asking questions about it and discussions are common. Students will figure things out by themselves and come up with examples. Im sure you will definetely agree with my definition.

Unfortunately, passive learning techniques are popular, mainly because they seem easier than active learning. However, this is just not true. Passive learning is often repetitious and boring, involving techniques such as reading, hearing what the teacher explains, seldom asking questions and limited or hardly no discussions at all. I already encounter these learners NOT ONLY at tuition class, but also at Secondary school and evening class.

So, as for me, I like to have active students who doesn't feel shy to ask questions because thats the only way of improving learning - by making mistakes haha lol. On the contrary, my friend prefer to have passive learners as he really goes for quiet students who dont simply ask stupid questions. Well, thats true. But if all students are quiet, the class is not running efficiently, no pleasant environment. Imagine there is no open discussion, no question and answer, etc....so damn boring, right?

Nowadays, many college teachers want to move past passive learning to active learning, to find better ways of engaging students in the learning process. But many teachers feel a need for help in imagining what to do, in or out of class, that would constitute a meaningful set of active learning activities.

Im sure you also have different opinion on this....have your say!!!

Last day of teaching in 2008

Time for updating again... Well, actually nothing much to do today, so Im resting at home in the morning and went out for shopping in the afternoon. Since the weather seems not good today, so we decided to go home earlier. Ermm just go to Plaza Athirah and First Emporium Seri. Susah jua cari parking cos ppl oledi got their salary, so buzy and crowded. I cant imagine how will it look like at gadong. Anyway, today can be a very important day for me as it is my last day teaching at evening class huhuhu :( so sad liao. Doesnt mean that I already resign but it ends my lesson/ class this year. Thus, if I were given the chance to teach again next year by the govt, it will be probably around February la.

I went online at 6pm and chatting with some frens and my sister. Suddenly, heavy rainfall again! Gosh, I felt like I was lazy to teach tonight. Why? Cos I really dun like to teach while raining... banjir, bising + sejok. Nevertheless, I just tried to make it cos I hate replacement class; I took shower and had my simple dinner before I left my house. On the way to my work place, I received a msg from one of my students (a Filipino student, Rhea D. Soon). She felt sorry that she couldnt come to the class again this time. Two days ago, she also couldnt make it. Haitzzz no problem :)

Rhea: Laoshi, Im sorry again this time I really cannot come to the class because of my workload. So when are we going to have another class?

Me: Actually, tonight is our last lesson. According to my letter of appointmnt, we can teach only up to 29th November 08, so Im not sure if the gate will be opened on Sunday.

Rhea: Owh ok. Thanks for teaching. I really appreciate u and really hope that you will become our teacher again next time. Bye!

Me: No problem. All the best from me about ur works, etc. And have a nice holiday... Wan an

The msg was really touching. For me, who is still new in this field, I have to thank Rhea cos she always support me by chatting with me, giving guidance and asking me lots of questions Lol... There were only few students who came to the class. Im not surprised with that numbers anyway, already used to it since July in which the number of my students started to deteriorate. Sesakku.... but what to do kan. My students are not kids anymore, they are all ranging from teenagers to adult. Mind their own business haha.

I teach for only 45 mins, I guess. Cos due to heavy rain, my students didnt come so early, so do I .... hehehe. While teaching and giving them short exercises, I chatted with my students about travelling...cos I like to travel, but now still cannot afford ler. Need to save more $$$. Started about going to Miri as Maznah, my student, is planning to go there this coming Saturday... Wah, best nya, its quite for a long time I have never been there. Then we chat chat and chat about going to Singapore, Batam, Labuan, Japan, Taiwan, HK and UK. Hmm feel wanna go there ASAP.

Soon as I dismissed my class, I felt shock as my class was the only one who learnt tonight. Errr so dark liao, I was alone. Hurry....go home. Suddenly, I saw a young lady on a corridor, seems like one of my students. Yeahh my guessing was rite. It was Rohana, another student who asked for forgiveness as she cannot come to the class, but somehow, she brought a present for me. Hehe.. It was an organizer, hmm thanks Rohana. I appreciate u. No need to susah2 lagi la. Ok. This is the first time in my life I got a present. She asked whether next year, I will teach them or not, and if other teacher teaches them, can she request to transfer to my class? Wow, I never feel this before. Im not proud of it. Other students including Rhea, Maznah, Samziah, etc also ever asked me the same question. As such, Im motivated to teach them in the future.

By the way, this is not the first time Im glad to become teacher. Its all happened when I started to teach at Sekolah Menengah Berakas where I was assigned for "teaching practice". Teaching is really a good profession and I really really like it. At certain times, I might get stress due to marking and preparing lessons but I enjoyed teaching!! There are many sweet moments which are unforgettable. I really miss all students who I taught - Form 4E, 4F and especially 4H. Though I was strict during that time, yet they still like me very much. For instance, during sport's day, I was invited for a birthday party (Form 4H). Toink!! So, to all my beloved evening class students, we will see la who gonna become ur teacher huh.... :-)

Keep in touch!!

The present that I received from Rohana

weird, really pissed me off...

Wei Xiao Pasta

Smile Pasta is one of the Taiwanese dramas that really attract my attention; the drama is so damn funny, hilarious shud be the word, romantic and I like the plot of the story. Add to that, they used many different songs as their music backgrounds, hmm so touching especially the song 北极星的眼泪 by 张栋梁 and also 黄昏晓 by 王心林.

Let's started with the main actress - Xiao Shi (Cyndi Wang). She is a girl who has gone through many short relationships, just about 3 months, then end up with break up again with her bf... and according to the story, she already broke up for the 17th time haha. She believed that she was cursed with a three-month curse. After being dumped by her 17th boyfren, her life even started to change with new challenging, and happening life. Lets move on to the main actor - He Qun (Nicholas Teo). His role in the drama was a famous singer, and bounded with many gossips especially with his gf, Rita (Joyce Zhao). However, one night during his performance of new album, he was supposed to be given a surprise by Vincent - his manager, that wat I know la. The surprise was Rita would come on stage to give a bouquet of flower to He Qun, unfortunately, Rita went to He Rui Zhe (Gino), younger bro of He Qun...sho suddenly emerged on stage to get Rita and bring her away. From then on, relationship between He Qun and Rita were just frens.

Ok, back on the case of Cheng Xiao Shi. At a time when she was being dumped by her 17th bf, she kept on walking with sad face, disappointed. Why? Because she already made promise with her bro that she wont be return home if she cannot bring her bf. Lol.... Suddenly, He Qun runs past, bumps into Xiao Shi....and they end up "kissing" on the street... haha. Few reporters swarmed by and to avoid reputation, Vincent declared Xiao Shi as He Qun's girlfriend of one year and even worst, announced she was He Qun's fiancee. Toink :) Thus, a love story started between the two. To cut the plot, this story is about how the couple learns to like each other after having disagreements in the beginning, as well as fighting against the media which throw upon them.

So whats the ending??? Can Xiao Shi end her 3 month curse? Haha....I have already watched all episodes, quite nice though. I recommend u to watch this too. Ermm this drama is old one.... I think around 2006, if Im not mistaken. Anyhow, I like to see the quarrel between Nicholas Teo and Cyndi Wang (so cute leh)....and there are lots of competition and bullying especially Xiao Shi family and also within college.

One of my favourite songs in the drama >>> 小乌龟

La~La~La~La~

Bad Mood huh...

Earlier in the morning, I was very buzy sending some application forms and letters to the Brunei Times, RBC and Grand City Hotel... The day was so damn hot which made me even more lazy and lazy. Arriving home, I had my second breakfast again LOL....cos I felt so hungry, inda lagi tahan, dunno how to explain it, maybe kinda like fasting :) Afterwards, I went to my room to go online, checking my email and msn. Ermm because of tiring eyes, seem like I wanna go for a rest. Then I fell asleep from 11 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. These few days I dunno why I feel such 'lazyness' with panda eyes.... maybe due to the fact that I like to sleep so late, but then, last night, I slept about 1 a.m. Not like the other day where I slept around 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. haha.
When I woke up, I found that it was already 1.30 p.m. where I shud send some forms again to QAF, Sunlit, etc. I didnt want to spend much time jalan2 lagi after sending the forms, instead I rush to go home.....why? Cos of stomach ache la Lol hahah..... Also, I have someting to watch at 3 p.m. on ESPN (UEFA Champions League match between Zenit and Juventus where it ended in a goalless draw). Hmm those were some of the things that I did on daytime.
What make me very happy today was that one my best friends finally accept me to visit him, lol.... so far he was kinda buzy all the time with works. Planning kan ke rumahnya around 7.30 p.m. but while I was listening to songs via my laptop, suddenly I received his msg, saying that he had many things to do..... toink toink -_-. Again, bad luck tonight. So, we rescheduled the time to this coming friday night. Hope nothing happen on that day... cos today, oledi got a bad mood. But what to do? Just accept the excuse or else, it will end for a misunderstanding, rite?

What an experience....

The date - 20th November 2008 was so meaningful to me. Till now, I still cannot forget what I have done so far. Recently I was very buzy, yet I dun have mood to update my blog. The main reason was being employed at I-lotus as waiter on that day (thursday). It is not an easy job as I have expected; you have to be alert to your surroundings and you are bounded to the restaurants' etiquette. The worst thing is that I can only work for just one day. I cant take the challenge. Cakap besar saja tapi skrg sudah give up haha. Even working for just a single day, but I gained lots of experience, both good and bad. Sometimes, I cannot stop smiling while Im alone hehe.

To be or not to be....

Harlo everybody... Actually I dun have idea what topic shall I give for this posting. Anyway, I just put it "To be or not to be".... Why is it? Give me a break, why ah? Owh it's just a question whether Im willing to become a receptionist or not... haha Lol. Two days ago (Sunday night), I went to Palm Garden Hotel at Qlap to send my CV. Then, while the receptionist girl accepted my CV, she asked what kind post Im looking for? Again, I have no clue about this question, rather than to say, it's up to the management of the hotel to give me any job that is suitable with my qualification. Without a doubt, she asked me if Im willing to become a receptionist because at this time, only that post is available. I dun mind to get that kind of job, as long as I get new experience, working at hotel huhoooo :) Thus, I just have to wait their reply... I hope I can get this kind of job. Palm Garden Hotel is new hotel in Bandar, quite nice though :)

Bartender or waiter?

Few days ago, I did manage to apply a job as either a Bartender or waiter which I get the info from Borneo Bulletin. Surprisely, it is I-Lotus restaurant which is located at Rimba, hehe our neighbourhood though. Getting over there, I was hesitated where can I get the form. And it was on the 1st floor of the Valor Property. Cool... I met Ana - the lady supervisor, who gave me the form. She asked what position would I like to apply? Ermm I said anything can... could be 'open vacancy', so meaning I dun mind to work as a bartender or waiter. No harm!! Lol. Soon arrived home, I filled in the form and sent to the office again the next day.. Yuhooo..... My heartbeat start to tic toc tic toc.....though Im just looking for part-time job only. Once more time, I met Ana.. she asked me whether Im willing to work immediately or not. Without thinking too much, I just reply "YES"..... hehe. Thats it! What else shall I respond? Rather than saying ermm maybe "not so soon"; I think this answer seems fool for me. Cos at the moment, Im also very free, dun have anything to do, no idea what to do... **sigh. Hope I will get their reply soon :)

Being so buzy lately.....sigh

Hi hi hi...... how are u all? Dear readers, time flies so fast. November just arrived and I didnt have much time to upload any new photos nor updating my blog, sorry for that. I was being buzy for the last few weeks. Prior to the day of our convocation, I had time to go online but I didnt have the mood to write any new post. Recently, I was buzy looking for jobs from newspaper, applying any vacancy from Borneo Bulletin, also thru SPA. Im kinda stress now, having financial problem haha. Well, Im still waiting for my evening class claim which has not been arrived yet. Maybe soon la....just hope ASAP.
One of my good frens has given me some useful advice. If he was in my position, he wouldn't mind to apply for any part-time job at restaurants, hotels, banks, or even at supermarket, as long as get income. Actually, I dun mind either, just that due to my UBD status, I dun have much courage and confident to apply at such place especially as shopkeeper, for instance. My cousins will definitely say.... wah, rupanya si Amir kaja d supermarket. Sia2 saja ia blajar sampai degree mun kaja nya macam atu... Nah, I have this pessimist view. Indeed, my friend persuaded me to apply those jobs, no matter what they will say. Because is this world, we live not for themselves...BUT for ourselves. Yet they wont feed us, so what for we would care for them? Right??? Rather than doing nothing at home and hoping to get govt job.
Anyhow, Im glad to hear his point of view. At the moment, I have already applied for part-time job and still waiting the reply. However, at the same time, Im still active in applying govt jobs from Pelita Brunei every week, really hope dat one day I would be employed as govt servant or teacher. For now, try to focus....

加油! 加油! 加油! 加油! 加油!

First Rehearsal

Recently I was so buzy till no time for me to blogging. Today was our first rehearsal for the 20th Convocation which would be held next week on the 30th October. Same like last year when I was graduated from degree programme, the first rehearsal was only a briefing that explained some etiquette which we need to consider. Also, the officer showed us how to wear the gown and the hood, etc. Well, I already know actually and absolutely, it was quite BORING for me to attend this morning. Hmm I just came because I thought attendance was compulsory.....but it was not.
Anyhow, later in the afternoon, I will be going to Labuan, staying overnight there and will be back tomorrow noon cos I will be teaching around 5 - 7 pm hehee. I just accompany my mum, together with my eldest bro and sis family. Wish can enjoy there..... but dun think shopping is a good idea there hehe. Nothing to see la... If "makan angin", boleh la. Lols... KK is far better than Labuan, correct or not? Opss I shudnt critic my cousin's place ~~~ toink toink :-)

Beraya ke Mumong, KB

Hihi... last sunday (12/10/08), I went beraya to Mumong, visited my cousin whom we missed to go to their open house due to the accident at Tutong Highway. Hmm inda kami sanggup kan beraya masa Raya ke-4 pasal accident atu long queue.... So we decided to make u-turn and went home instead. Finally we reached their house at Mumong and we also got time to "makan angin" around KB and Seria. Somehow, for the first time I see....the location of Sekolah Menengah Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Hj Abu Bakar (PJN) is just across my cousin's house. Quite near though. Actually, there are few frens of mine who are teaching at PJN Secondary School when I took PGCE at UBD. Wow.....now I know where it is. So far, I just know Sekolah Menengah Syd. Ali. Here are some of the pics that I took during that day...

At my cousin @sepupu house

Where did I take this photo? Have a guess...hehe

Friday 10 October 2008

yesterday was quite full :)

Yesterday...hmm......we went for an open house which was invited by my brother in law's sister. Her house is located at Tg. Bunut Kanan, just in front of Hua Ho Tg. Bunut. Weather was ok, kan hujan pulang tapi berangin saja.. As I expected, perhaps the open house was organised outside the house, so pakai kem la..... But since they had big compound, they just used the garage at the backyard. I was speechless, their open house (I mean food) was different from other houses that we had been to since last year. This time, they ordered people to cook for us at the same time when we ask for the food. Haitzzz so nice liao. Its very delicious though not many dishes.

First, I makan soto since there were many people went for queue up for the Kway Teow/ Mee Kuning basah which will be put in claypot. There were also 'Nasi Ayam', which will be self- service. Semua la katakan layan sendiri hehe. Soto was quite nice. I enjoyed the various kuih-muih and also kelupis. Second round baru ku order kway teow basah claypot; errr i dun like kawin (which is a mixture of both mee). Again, Im speechless. Very delicious.... my other nephew/ niece who didnt go there missed the chance lo haha. Anyhow, they gonna have exam la :)

I skip Nasi Ayam. Cos I think my stomach oledi quite full. Kang inda ku dapat bertidur mun 'sanak' perut sudah. Indeed, we wanna go to my sepupu house for beraya but she wasnt at home. So we went home la....quite early though. Here are few photos that I can take during the open house.... :)

Ambil gmbr boring2... Aduh spoil nya lampu tu; sana sini. Can somebody take pic for me? Lols

Tempat org atu masak claypot; Also Nasi Ayam is here....

Saja ambil gmbr hehe....from side view

Some of the guests
One of the chefs >>> tengah masak claypot kway teow
Reached home.... I went for online a couple of mins. Check my emails and downloaded songs via IRC. Then I went downstair, chatting with my mum and Rina (my 3rd sis); we watched Indonesian drama.... and then I makan pizza (Honey garlic) hmm makan lagi lols.... Bought by Rina when she brought her kids that last nite. Then I went online again and my sepupu from Labuan appeared online....so we have a short conversation. Also, I was chatting with new fren from KL.... really excited to know more frens. Then, feeling tired, I went to the bed and sleep lo. But then, I woke up at 3am in the morning.... Shit, I got stomach ache. What we say in Brunei ah.... "SANAK" ? Pasal makan banyak atu kali... Haitzzz I cant sleep for an hour after that....Lols. I tried my best to forget everything but I cant. Perutku kencang apa. Bukan gastric tu. Iyatah ku inda suka ni kalau makan berabis haha... I cant hold it anymore.... After listening to songs via my handphone, barutah ku tertidur..... huh what a nightmare :)

Raya was postponed hehe

Time flies so fast. Today was already 3rd day of Raya...

Anyhow, we dun go to many houses tonight cos of heavy rain.....

Again, wil update this post soon.... have fun :)

Hari Raya ke-2......Open house

Yesterday again another tiring day for us cos as usual for every year when the Eid comes, we will be having Open House on the 2nd day of Raya. My mum made "SOTO" as we dun wan her to susah2 masak nasi, or other menu like spaghetti or steamboat. With soto, my eldest bro bought 'hati buyah'. Most Malay like hati buyah hehe. Quite tired jua to entertain guests, especially last nite when my cousins "convoy" to my house. First, there was 3 or 4 cars coming to my house. Then another 5 cars came haitzz...... Furthermore, we dun have maid....aiya we need help from my sister's maid. Luckily there are 2 maids, one is from my eldest sis and another is from 4th sis. By the way, still cannot cope with the people. We have to give our hand for this day. Bukannya selalu kan..... Enjoy jua la, jumpa dgn my uncles, aunties and other relatives.

I was buzy whole day helping my mum either to entertain the guests or help in the kitchen. Last nite, I got a msg from my fren (a chinese masseur from china) who wanted to come to my house. Since he wished me for HariRaya on the eve of Eid, I oledi informed him that we would have open house on the second day of Raya and next tuesday too. So he replied me maybe he would be buzy working in the afternoon and only free at night. So, I said....its up to them....They can come anytime they want to. So, he texted me again at 10 pm + saying that he wanted to come to my house, only four of them (that what he said in my msg lols). I dun mind la how many ppl he bring haha. Raya tetap raya bah. At the same time, my uncle was just arrived. So I layan durang... jemput mereka makan soto.. We have much conversation.. Im a bit worried, tak senang hati whether my fren can find my house or not. I oledi gave him my address and I kol him. An Indonesian driver sent them to my place.

At last, they came about 10.30pm... Shuhhhh apala punya susah org Indon ani bawa durang ke rumah. Inda tertulus... haha. Nasib jua sampai dah. There were only three of them; my fren and his 2 colleagues. We enjoyed having good time together, took some photos in the living room. I invited them to makan soto also. Though I cant speak Chinese very well, yet I can follow what they say la. Moreover, they can speak Malay a little. So no problem la. In fact, Im very glad to have frens like them, which I can consider overseas fren from China.... Here are some photos that I took yesterday.

Hmm =_=

What am I thinking of? Lols

Our living room

We oledi found the place for the new sofa.. Meja makan for soto, still waiting other dishes ;)

Have a nice day!!

First day of Hari Raya

Today was a tiring day for us. Early morning, my brothers and I went to the mosque for 'Sembahyang Hari Raya'. Every years, we will go to Serusop mosque, but this time, we just go to Rimba's mosque and to my shock, it was already full of ppl. Hmm I woke up at 5 a.m. and helped my mum doing this and that...prepared some stuffs for living room. Then we left house at 7.15 a.m. We were unlucky today; my first time to pray outside the mosque ehehe. Its ok jua lah.....small matter, as long as we pray to the god sincerely and honestly.

Mum and my sisters were buzy cutting the cakes and arranged the biscuits in a bowl (tempat untuk kuih sama kek) that will be put in the living room's table. Soon as we arrived home, we also helped anything that we can... I was online sekejap, checking my mails and played msn haha. An hour later, we were get ready to visit the grave at Kianggeh. It was so difficult to park the cark as many people flocked at that place... sigh. First, we cleaned up the grave and then, baru kami pasang kemenyan. We recited the doa Yassin and my eldest brother read the doa at the end. After that, we started to use the 'air asah-asahan'. Inda jua lama di kubur, cos we are gonna go to Lumut, visiting my grandma and a few relatives.

Here are some of the pics that I took for the first day of Raya >>>
