Raya is just announced.... hehe

According to TV announcement, Brunei will be celebrating the first day Raya this Thursday (02/10/08) hehe as we can predict lols. I thought by tomorrow (Wednesday), because its already 1st Syawal.....yet we have to celebrate on the day after tmw. Dapat puasa kah tu? Hehe.....Never mind la, as long as our fasting, etc... will be accepted.
Since Malaysia will be celebrating the 1st day of Raya tomorrow, so our planning is to go Labuan to visit my auntie and relatives.....beraya di sana lah katakan.... so, today is our buzy day la as we have been buzy prepared for it. Soon as we back from Labuan, everything must be ready then. Tahu relax saja masa balik atu nanti ......haha.
Anyway, feel quite sad pasal tmw is the last day of Puasa....eventhough we are going to Labuan and have to enjoy makan d sana (beraya) lols. Nah....now, the end of fasting month, also mean the end of September 2008. Totally cannot forget this month.... Wait until next year when Ramadhan is coming again :)

Restoran Seri Kemayan

Actually, I just finished my shopping tonight at Soon Lee Megamart at Seri. I was a bit upset as there was no much choice in particular, shirts and trousers. I still remember it was quite hilarious last year, same like Hua Ho....but now, it cannot compete with Hua Ho anymore... I was so damn bored. As I was still waiting for my eldest bro to fetch me, I had the feeling to observe how does "Restoran Seri Kemayan" look like? My chinese friend always says about it... every function such as wedding, etc. is also been organised there. Even my sister also has ever been there. So, I went there and had a look. Go upstair, first floor.....and ....... hmm Im a bit shock. Where is everybody? Am I come too late? It was still 10 p.m. Suddenly one of the waitresses approached me, asking for how many persons..... bla bla bla..... Hahaha

Well, I just want to ask.... this and that..... hmm.....can I see the menu please? Many dishes though....especially chinese cuisine. Lols....but the name of the restaurant is Malay. Perhaps it was owned by a Muslim. No wonder my Chinese friend is always invited to go there. Must be Chinese, the majority of the customers ~~ toink toink. She gave me the business card as well. I did ask, do we need to book? No need. Then I replied back....how if suddenly, this restaurant got a wedding function and then we came at the same time, yet there is no place to seat? Nanti kena halau eh... Lols..... She said sure got wan.... Aiya... If that case, ok la...I will come next time hehe.. No matter u bring two persons or more than that, no need to book. That will be fine. Finished asking that lady, my mind continued to think...whether this type of restaurant will get much profit or not.... No idea!! Maybe yes.... but occasionally. Depends whether there is a function or not haha. I shud come there earlier.

Soon, my brother arrived and I reached home then.....

Almost done!!

Buzy preparation for Raya....

Well, fasting month is came to an end and Raya is just around the corner... Haitzzz we are still buzy preparing for Raya; what a hectic life for us day after day. Just left about 3 or 4 days, we all divide our tasks, e.g. my eldest brother will do the connection for the tv and speaker as well as 'lampu cucul' whereas the three of us are buzy arranging sofa sama meja makan, pindah sana, pindah sini haha susah lo. Its quite hard to arrange them especially the new sofa that my bro bought.....what do we call that.....sofa utk pemalas... haha. On the contrary, Mum and my sisters, as usual, buzy baking few cakes, biscuits and 'popia damit' lols. Some cakes are just bought such as 'kek roll (Kek Tapak Kuda)', etc...Inda ku tau nama2 kek ani, duno what else I can list out....I just know makan makan makan!!! Hehe..

Back to the sofa arrangements, at first, we agreed to put them in the living room but it was quite unfair ma since my eldest brother havent back from work. So I said better wait for him first...and see how is his reaction. Dia pun pening....cos its really unmatched when we put both sofa and 'kerusi Iran' together. The Brunei Malay word here "ulung" hehe. Aku mana saja.... My second bro bah, slalu membantah. What so ever la....janji teratur. Finally, we came into solution where all of us agreed to put the sofa outside the living room.....to make it as another/ second living room. This was my mother's idea. Hehe... But it's look ok, look nicer than it was inside the living room. Meja makan kami pindah di tengah lorong.. So if we organise 'open house', people can take food there and then can sit at the sofa to watch TV..... yihaaaa.

Actually, this problem was already settled 2 days ago.....so today, we just buzy cleaning all the windows and change with new curtain (left one curtain that still havent change because of the connection of amplifier, etc.....kacau la haha). Beside that, we also used new table cloth. Now, let's the pictures do the talking >>>

Living Room - filled with 'Kerusi Iran'

*Note that in these 2 pics - Iqbal is lying on the sofa, while reading comics :)

What did my younger bro do? hehe not like his bro :)

Another Birthday Party...

Jobs hunting!!!

I was buzy whole day, checking some information about job vacancies on Brudirect and also Pelita Brunei. NEVER GIVE UP man!!! I know its quite hard to get a full time job now due to more competition. Eventhough you are studied up to Degree or Master, sometimes the HND holder is more preferable than the former.... Why? Maybe differential in salary payment, etc. Besides, I also write a few letters to some banks such as HSBC, Baiduri, BIBD, SCB, TAIB and what's more, I dun mind to apply job at Jaya Hypermart and other dept stores by filling in the form... lols. Janji halal....

My Nephew's Birthday

As being planned by my 4th sister, she proposed to celebrate her youngest son's birthday today who will turn to 2 years old. So, we all gathered for sungkai together terus celebrate her son's bday. She arranged the bday party; ordered catering from 'Andaman' which is near to her workplace...and asked them to come to our house. Actually, we just celebrate at Rimba since we had big compound. Im not sure when is her son's birthday actually... perhaps it is tmw on the 26th Sept.... we just moved forward to today. Upon the arrival of some guests (my sister's colleagues), then only we get ready for sungkai. Kids were enjoyed tonight, playing bunga api and also badil..... my eldest brother and bro-in-law joined jua. Hahaha..... Sana sini org terkajut pasal badil ah.... Cos my bro played air-bomb, which he still kept from last year haha... My fren gave it to me last year. Hope I can buy from him again next time lols. Finally, its time for cutting the cakes....as usual during bday party. And thats it..

AIFA, just know where it is....

Just wanna show u few pics that I took on AIFA earlier today which is located at Lambak Kanan near the industrial site and traffic light, after the petrol station. Actually, my younger bro and I went to Kiulap this morning to electronic shop in order to change the DVD player that my eldest bro just bought yesterday. Huh.... unfortunately, we can't make any complaint though there was something wrong about the player (the sound wasn't clear). Because they only sell the goods but cannot do the maintenance or repair... So, we were told to send the DVD player to the AIFA's main agent at Lambak. Lol, I thought it was at Gadong.... it was just their main store.

Anyway, nothing wrong with the DVD player as we already made complaint to the agent, perhaps there was an error in the connection that my bro done.... also, we are using plasma tv which is different from the tv that the agent tried on our DVD. They are using old model tv la hehe. Perhaps the connection is different..rite? So we have to try again at home. Here are few photos that I can take at AIFA.

Coffeezone, Qlap

Harlo... How are u guys? Haha.. Im fine today. Hmm as usual, I dunno what will be my topic for this post. I just want to tell u about two things dat I did today; the first one is shopping and secondly, meeting my fren. Since 11 a.m. till 2 p.m., we went to Hua Ho and First Emporium Seri (or Batu Satu) for shopping.... got raya mood now. Gosh, so many ppl flooded these areas just wanna do some preparation for Raya. Less than 2 weeks now, all Muslims in Brunei are buzy buying some stuffs for raya. On the other hand, earlier tonight, I met up with my 'chinese' fren at Coffeezone Qlap, just for a short chit chat, say hi.. hello, this and that.....bla bla bla. We just had drinks since I was full already after breaking the fast. Anyway, we had good conversation... non-stop la katakan. We had laugh together, talking about lover stuffs hehe. Seriously, we have the same problems... haitsss what a coincidence! So we can share joy and problems that we have. Thats the purpose of having a good friend in life....

Today.....

Suppose to be Im fasting today but due to sudden dizziness which I cant cope with it anymore, hmm I have to break my fast...How? by preparing some bread sebagai santapan ku wahaha. While chatting on msn (about 11 am), I sent msg to one of my close frens, asking him to have sungkai together...not buffet, but ordering alacarte. Thats what in my mind la. Anyhow, he suggested that its better to go swimming first at JPMC, then baru dinner. I already inform him la that I stop fasting. Tak tahan wohhh, I have to take my medicine lagi. Berapa kali sehari uhhh kalau miss sudah, kan paning ku dtg lagi, derita jua eh ~~toink toink. All right, now let me tell you a few things that I did today.

1) Visiting my brother-in-law

First, I was informed by my 4th sister that she wanted to bring me to go RIPAS to visit my bro-in-law who just admitted to ward yesterday afternoon. Hmm Im not sure ia sakit apa, yg aku tahu, something to do with his stomach. Yalor, he always eats spicy food bah...haitss. Prior to our arrival on the parking lot near the new building (doktor pakar), luckily we met our 3rd sister who almost wanted to leave the hospital hehe. Cos husband nya yang kena tahan...but then no point jua kalau kami melawat, my sister nada kan.... Only my niece saja yg jaga bapanya..lols. So she off the car's engine and went to the ward again to accompany us hehe.

On the way to the ward, we stopped by at 'Kedai Koperasi' to buy some food and drinks sebagai buah tangan. My bro-in-law was admitted at ward 22, bed no. 20. Huh...lain rasaku sana ah. Its remind me in March this year when I was also admitted due to operation tonsil. Eeee rasa kan mau balik plang ku. Dunno why my feeling so different just as a sudden. Apparently I felt annoying with the environment of the ward...hehhh bising lagi tu. We had good chat with my sis and her hubby...and to my shock, he cant take any food to eat, ONLY drinks. This is mainly because the next day, perutnya kan kena teropong...so tonight, ia terpaksa puasa la. Kesian, perut kosong tu. We don't stay longer there as we want to buy some food for 'penyungkaian' for my mum and my younger brother. After we left RIPAS about 4.10 p.m., we were heading to Pasar Malam.

2) At Pasar Malam (P.M)

Essentially, I have no idea whether my mum has some preparation for breaking the fast or not. So how?? I have to give a call to my younger bro, asking what my mum wants me to buy for sungkai. I was talking on the fon with my mum...and she doesn't ask me to buy anything cos she already got 'soto' which she cooked earlier in the afternoon. Also, my younger bro will bring her to stadium, looking for some kuih, etc. All rite, if that case, no need to worry then. Somehow, I received a msg a few minutes later from my younger bro, asking me to buy 'Kuih Apam Malaysia' and also 'Burger Telor'. Huh...Apam Malaysia? What is that? I thought kuih Apam yang warna putih. My bro-in-law told me...that could be Kuih Malaya hehe. Im not confident with it, so I have to text my bro again, asking for confirmation...then it is.... Kuih Malaya. Btw, we were still at RIPAS during this time.

As stated above, we went to P.M and looked for the food that they want. Since I familiar with the places that sell their food, so we don't take much time. Finding parking, anyway, much difficult as people were also buying food to prepare for penyungkaian. Usually, the rush hour will be started from 4.30 p.m. onwards. Although I was look happy but in my mind, I kept on thinking many things.....especially about swimming at JPMC hehe as my fren gonna fetch me from my house at 5pm. Lols.....hurry.... yeahhh we arv home on time. Simultaneously, my fren then arrived. Hah....aiya.....I need to put all the swimming stuffs in my bag now. I had prepared already, just that havent put them in my bag since my sister also picked me so early. Maybe it was my fault la.... Noon time pun ada, tpi aku ani biasalah....last minute person... walao eh.. not a good practice :)

3) Swimming at JPMC

We arrived JPMC around 5.15 pm. Quickly, we went to the gents, changing into swimming outfit... wearing swimming trunk and took out googles. Yeahhh ready for swimming. I managed to swim breaststroke about 20 laps. Hooray....that's new record for me. Atupun pasal swimming pool JPMC ani only about 50m kali.... I think la. Not sure... yg pasti inda sama macam d stadium yang arah 1st level, atu lagi 100m kali. Basically the JPMC's punya swimming pool is just half of that stadium's pool...in my view la hehe. Swimming...swimming ... and swimming.... I just continued my laps tak henti2... Aiseyyyy di sini, I tunjuk samseng la sikit BUT at stadium, I easily get tired.

Maybe I shud go to JPMC for practice... What do u think? Haha. Swimming breaststroke is ok for me. First of all, I swim for 5 laps, then had rest for 1-2 mins.....and continued again for another 5 laps. Siok nya!! Rest again. Then only I swim for 10 laps without rest...only annoyed by my fren who had a little conversation with me, asking what time we will finish swimming...haitzz. Addicted sudah ma...siok bah, not many people. Another good thing is no one realise/ ask that Im Malay hehe. Inda org kisah. Not like at stadium, many buzybody who like to stare people while swimming lols. We finished swimming around 6.20 pm, then we had shower. We left JPMC around 6.40 p.m. and now, what's our next plan? Dinner time!

4) Thai Restaurant @ Jerudong

As usual, when talking about makan...where to have lunch/ dinner/ supper or even hi-tea, we always have no idea where to go. I mean the two of us. Haha... Actually, Im ok. Im not that choosy. I can eat at Japanese, Thai and Chinese restaurant also (asalkan halal). Mly and Indian restaurants also not bad la...even fast food also OK. Just that so many choices of restaurants to go hehee. Since we swim at JPMC...so my fren suggested to have dinner at any area somewhere in Jerudong. I have no objection. Instead, I proposed to go to Food Court Jerudong but dunno la, ada masih kah inda...hehe it is quite a long time never been there since the games at Jerudong Park were charged.

At last, we came to a solution, dinner at Thai restaurant. To my knowledge, there are few Thai restaurants at Jerudong but Im not sure where is it the famous Thai restaurant that my fren wanna bring me. He also forgot hehe short term memory lol. Heyyy kan dinner ani pun sudah satu hal, memikirkan tempatnya haha. Finally, I recommend my fren to go at HSBC building because there also got That restaurant since Im not sure which place he refer to.... We just ordered a bowl of green curry w/ fish which we shared, and also, 2 plate of rice. Thats it!! On diet la katakan hehe... You will notice on the pic below that labelled green curry with chicken (Actually, we changed it with fish la). Now, lets the pics tell you the facts >>>

On the way back, then baru ia terliat KTM Thai Restaurant. Owh...atu rupanya restaurant yg d maksudkan nya famous ani. Yeahhh kinda famous jua..tempatnya pun ada class. Well, its ok lah. Dah terlanjur. Maybe we shud try next time.

5) In the end...

After dinner, I followed my fren to his house; watching tv, dvd and chatting. Planning kan liat wayang tapi no good movie for this month. The latest we watched was Babylon A.D. (poor movie). At the cinema now showing a few comedy such as The Love Guru, Money not Enough, etc etc. Around 10.30 p.m., my younger bro picked me up from his house as I dun wan to bother my fren to send me home. Not to say Im trouble my bro also la...cos frequently, my fren also sends me home and this time, Im the one who followed him to watch dvd together. Sekali skala, I can ask my bro to pick me hehe.... ALL RIGHT.... thats all what I did today. Will update again my blog soon!!!

Del Piero Wonder Goal Downs Zenit

Juventus 1 - 0 Zenit St. Petersburg

Holla.... I cant wait this match actually, but what a waste... only my brother have astro sports which is in his room only... How am I going to watch la?? Although the match between the two teams inda kana ambil secara live, so I just check the latest result from internet. Woke up around 3.30 a.m., I browsed any soccer website that were showing broadcast, kesiann ah, demi kan cek result nya wahaha. Ok, lets me begin the preview before the game took place and what happened during the match. This is just taken from several sources hehee.

My favourite team, Juventus, made their return to Europe’s premier club competition after two years in the Calciopoli-imposed wildnerness, and they were virtually at full strength, with only Jonathan Zebina and Cristiano Zanetti, who are by no-means first team players, out injured. Haitss lama jua nunggu tu dalam 2 tahun lapas match fixing scandal. The coach, Claudio Ranieri made four changes from the team who beat Udinese 1-0 on Sunday, selecting Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet up-front, with Nicola Legrottaglie and Cristian Molinaro replacing Olof Mellberg and Paolo De Ceglie respectively in defence. Suxxx....shud be the young De Ceglie instead of Molinaro hehe. Hmm pasal Zenit, malas tah ku kan cerita tu eh....Not interested hehe Im biased ni.

Throughout the game, Juventus was outclassed by Zenit...sshhh sasakku....especially in midfield. What the hell Poulsen and Sissoko couldnt win the ball and give the correct passes. But Juve also got its chances through Camoranesi and Poulsen from which the former hit the post through header and the latter, his header was saved by Zenit keeper. Chances by chances......Zenit still couldnt score. How awful!! Ranieri knew something had to be done and he made a second change, replacing the disappointing Molinaro with Paolo De Ceglie. The first change was to substitute the injured Camoranesi with Salihamidzic.

Juventus were disjointed, as they had been almost all night. There was also a distinct lack of pace or imagination in the team, and as the game entered the final quarter, if anyone looked like winning it certainly was Zenit.

The goal: In 76th minute, Juve finally broke the deadlock courtesy of an absolute wonder goal from Alessandro Del Piero. The legendary captain let fly with a dipping, swerving free kick from fully 30 yards that moved both left and right as it flew past Malafeev. It was a quite incredible strike! Amazing, superb...wonderful.....what a great technique!!!

Amauri came on for Trezeguet in the closing minutes, and almost helped create a second goal for Del Piero but Juve managed to hold out as they earned a narrow win on their return to the Champions League.

Teams:

Juventus: Buffon, Grygera, Legrottaglie, Chiellini, Molinaro (De Ceglie 56), Camoranesi (Salihamidzic 31), Poulsen, Sissoko, Nedved, Del Piero, Trezeguet (Amauri 87)

Zenit: Malafeev, Anyukov, Krizanac, Puygrenier, Sirl, Denisov, Tymoschuk, Zyrianov (Dominguez 78), Arshavin, Danny, Pogrebnyak

Goals:

Del Piero 75 (J)

UEFA Champions League - Group H - Matchday 1

Juventus vs Zenit St. Petersburg

Juventus will meet Zenit St Petersburg in a Champions League game in Group H. After an absence of two years, 1996 winners Juventus are back in the UEFA Champions League hoping to make up for lost time.

Juventus have done brilliantly to come up to Champions League football after spending two years in the wilderness. The Old Lady of Turin had to suffer the embarrassment of playing in the second tier of Italian football after they were found guilty of match-fixing and despite losing a host of stars; they still have a squad that is good enough to compete with the best in business. The likes of Del Piero, Nedved and Trezeguet are still going strong while summer signings Poulsen, Mellberg, Amauri and Sissoko are all expected to play a major part when Juventus start their 2008/09 campaign with a tricky clash against Russian Champions Zenit.

Zenit come into this season on the back of their finest season in many a year. The Russian Champions were brilliant both domestically and in Europe and they will be expected to give Real Madrid and Juventus a run for their money this season. Zenit started their season with silverware defeating Manchester United in the UEFA Supercup. Zenit have done brilliantly to come all their major stars including Arshavin while new signing Danny should give them an extra edge up front when they come up against Juventus this midweek at the Stadio Olympico.

Menziarahi Kubur

Day after day, time pass away.... its already 5 years our late dad meninggalkan kami sekeluarga since June 2003. Sekejap sajaaa. So, tadi pagi, rancangan kami kan menziarahi kubur mulah bapa dan mulah nini di Kianggeh. Only three of us went to the grave, together with my mum, my 2 aunties and my 4th sister, except the other 3 sisters and also my younger brother as he was attending written test. Prior to our arrival, we cleaned up all the mess and then put the 'kemenyan' haha pasal banyak mosquitoes sama semut. We brought Ustaz from Rimba to read the 'Surah Yassin and Tahlil' and recite the doa. Huh, he read so fast de haha. Baik jua ku dapat follow. This is just our 1st visit during the fasting month. And usually, we will visit again during 1st Day of Raya. To be continued...

Majlis Bertahlil dan Menyungkaikan

Earlier in the morning, my auntie came from Labuan, pasal kan melawat kubur my late Grandparents, dad and others. Together with her is another relative (also from Labuan) who never stay at our place before hehe. Im glad they came to stay overnite, inda jua sunyi rasanya.... Cos my auntie ani a bit talkative, yet make the situation more 'happening'. Macam tadi, baru saja kmi ambil d Muara terminal, wahhhh from Muara to my house, non-stop la.. :)
Terus saja lapas ambil my auntie, we went ahead to my auntie's house at Lambak, having chit chat within an hour. We were told that one of my relatives would like to invite us for Majlis Tahlil sama tarus menyungkaikan'. Hmm go or not? Normally I malas kan ke majlis tahlil macam ani walaupun tarus sungkai....cos usually, before sungkai, people will be rushing kan makan. Everyone 'berabut' haha....abis piring terpelanting **just joking. After visiting my auntie, then only we went home and had a rest. Around this time, I dunno what make me so damn tired. So I decided to take a nap but it was not a short rest instead, I slept for long hours and only woke up at 3 pm plus. Aiya....my stomach lagi berbunyi2 rasa kan burst saja.
Finally I made up my mind to go to the function. Cos bida jua if my eldest brother saja join with my mum and 2 aunties hehe. So once goin there, ok la not bad. We arrived not so early, so menunggu pun inda lama. We just wait at the camp and malas kan masuk ke rumah kan baca tahlil. Bukannya apa...kang udah keluar rumah, all chairs will be occupied. Gipun kedengaran jua org membaca tahlil sama doa atu, so we just follow la.... ~~toink toink. Just finished reciting the Doa, people got ready to take the food, preparing la tu katakan. Gosh...inda tantu kan ku liat. Paning kepalaku haha. Cepat2....take the glass and fill in water. Lol, its not cold water. It was just mineral water and also hot nescafe. Damn damn!! Haha inda lagi bersyukur aku atu. But many ppl said la...everyone still thirsty. Thats why I seldom go to any function like this. Better just staying at home. For those who organise such function, its good la...dapat pahala pasal durg kira bersedekah, terus menyungkaikan. Tapi dari segi kan makan...kepisan eh...everyone is fighting for the food....haha lols.

aiya...unsuccesssful again!

What a crap!! I just received a letter from Jabatan Pendidikan Teknik this morning and the application was not successful. Pheww too tired, hunting for jobs nowadays. Its not easy to get jobs compare to previous years. Sometimes, I have the feeling to apply job at Singapore. What do you think? Of course, the cost of living will be expensive BUT in order to survive, we need money, jobs, etc.... Otherwise, I dont mind to apply jobs at Malaysia especially in KL, Penang, or KK, as long as Im working. The worst thing working at KL is RM currency hehe. Anyway, still working ma...better than nothing. I havent decide my mind.
Its been 2 months already Im unemployed. Not even 2 years. But why Im so stress?? Thats it, I dont have full time job and no pocket money....
What shud I do next??? Merompak?? Haha just kidding

Dim Sum

Talking about food, I like to eat Chinese dishes including rice, mee and also Dim Sum. Here, just want to highlight the origin of Dim Sum and also the Drinking of tea.

Dim Sum

Dim sum is a Cantonese term that literally means dot heart or order heart, or be interpreted as snack.

Classical dim sums include buns dumplings and rice rolls in a variety of ingredients such as beef, chicken, pork, prawns or vegetarian ingredients . They are cooked by steaming, frying and sometimes other methods. They are usually small and served as 3 or 4 pieces in one dish. In Brunei, some Chinese restaurants may serve Dim Sum with pork but mostly are halal, with chicken and seafood.

History

Long ago, travellers on the ancient Silk Road needed a place to rest. Teahouses were established along the roadside. Rural farmers also went in to eat after a long day’s work. At first it was considered inappropriate for tea to be taken with food, because people believed it would lead to excessive weight gain. People later discovered that tea could aid digestion, so owners of teahouses introduced more kinds of snacks, and the tradition of dim sum evolved.

Drinking of Tea

The drinking of tea is as important to dim sum as the food. Popular teas served with dim sum include chrysanthemum tea, oolong, and green tea. It was customary to pour tea for others while eating dim sum before filling one’s own cup. A custom unique to Hong Kong is to thank the person pouring the tea by tapping the bent index and middle fingers together on the table. This is said to resemble the ritual of bowing to someone.

Varieties of Dim Sum

Dim sum restaurants have a wide variety of dishes, usually several dozen. Among the standard fare of dim sum include:

  • Shrimp Dumpling: An especially delicate steamed dumpling with whole or chopped-up shrimp filling and especially thin (almost translucent) rice-flour skin.
  • Siu Maai: Small steamed dumplings with pork inside a thin wheat flour wrapper.
  • Spring rolls: Spring rolls consist of various types of vegetables such as sliced carrot, cabbage, mushroom and wood ear fungus, and sometimes meat, are rolled inside a thin flour skin and deep fried for a crispy outside.

These are few Dim Sum only.... there are more than this.

Happy 1st Anniversary to 2007 Graduates

It has been a year oledi.... Sedar tak sedar....
Today was a notable day that I couldnt forget. Why??? Because 11th September 2007 explained our glorious day haha that was our Convocation Day for 19th intake hehe. What a nice date!!! It also reminds me to September 11th, the terrorists attack on the World Trade Centre, USA. This memorable day is absolutely the day I cant wait. Gosh, I only remember it tonight. Maybe I wanna plan to throw a party with some frens one day. Hopefully there is no special link between September 11th attacks and our Convocation day.....haha just joking :) U get what I mean?? Hopefully those graduators are not affected by the unlucky event of the attacks on the WTC. Is this coincidence?? Maybe yes...maybe not...
Anyway, I just want to take this oppurtunity to give dedication to those people who graduated last year (including my friends)...... Happy 1st Anniversary for you all.... Wish your dreams come true :)

Italy 2 - 0 Georgia

De Rossi fires Italy past Georgia

As Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi proved the match winner with a brace as Italy at times laboured to a 2-0 victory over Georgia on Wednesday. The victory ensured the Italians went top of World Cup qualifying Group Eight following a scoreless draw between Montenegro and Ireland.

Italy began by playing some free-flowing football but gradually lost their way against spirited and determined opponents. De Rossi won the match for the reigning World Cup holders with a thunder bolt from 30 yards in the first half and then he latched onto a clever pass from substitute Alessandro Del Piero a minute from time to secure the three points.

On the quarter hour the world champions really sprung into life as Bayern Munich forward Luca Toni released Antonio Di Natale with a pinpoint turn and pass. Playing in front of his home fans in Udine, Di Natale, the hero against Cyprus on Saturday, would have been a popular scorer but he clipped his shot just wide of the upright under pressure from Loria and a defender.

Italy were on top and Argentina-born midfielder Mauro Camoranesi almost bundled his way through moments later. But on 17 minutes the hosts were deservedly in front through a rocket from De Rossi, who turned his man in midfield with a clever drag back and then advanced forward looking for a pass before changing his mind and thrashing a swerving shot home from fully 30 yards.

Italy continued to boss proceedings after the break without creating many clear-cut chances. Lippi tried to inject some urgency into the game by introducing Juventus strike pair Del Piero and Vincenzo Iaquinta with the latter firing into the side-netting 13 minutes from time. Now, 5 Juventus player played on the field. A few minutes after that Iaquinta forced a save out of Loria following good work from Camoranesi, Del Piero and another substitute Angelo Palombo before De Rossi applied the final touch a minute from time.

The 2nd goal from De Rossi was assisted by Del Piero....an easy goal though.

Teams:-

Italy: Buffon; Zambrotta, Cannavaro, Legrottaglie, Dossena; Pirlo (Palombo 45), De Rossi, Aquilani; Camoranesi, Di Natale (Del Piero 56), Toni (Iaquinta 70)

Georgia: Loria; Lobjanidze, Salukbadze, Kaladze, Eliava (Kvaskvhvadze 45); Kenia, Kobiashvili, Menteshashvili (Odkadze 69), Khmaladze; Iashvili, Mchelidze (Siradze 56)

Babylon A.D.

Finally, I got the chance to watch another movie, that is Babylon A.D., starring: Vin Diesel, Melanie Thierry, Michelle Yeoh, etc. Well, it was not a good movie as I expected. I really hope there was more action....lari sana lari sini, tembak2 hehe..... The movie only played for 1 hr 30 mins, very short ah...

Based from the movie, Vin Diesel is trying to save the planet than like he's fighting off a really bad hangover; Vin Diesel punches, shoots but ultimately dozes his way through the sloppy sci-fi actioner "Babylon A.D." After a (literally) eye-catching sequence that shows early signs of the CGI action to come, pic flashes back a week earlier to war-rattled "New Serbia," where gun-for-hire Toorop (Diesel) sits out the fighting in a boarded-up apartment. Dressed like a frat boy heading for an early morning class and showing just as much conviction, he barely reacts when a SWAT team busts in to bring him to Gorsky (Gerard Depardieu, sporting an unnecessary prosthetic nose), a Russian mafioso offering a sizeable payoff if Toorop delivers a special package to New York.

The package in question is a mysterious blonde nymph, Aurora (Melanie Thierry), who's been hidden away in a convent under the protection of Sister Rebecca (Michelle Yeoh). Instead of inquiring why Aurora is worth the hefty price of border smuggling, Toorop shrugs off any serious questioning, unsuccessfully tries to light a cigarette (a gag repeated throughout), and the three set off.

First destination is a train station in Kazakhstan, which occasions one of the pic's more convincing set pieces when a bomb detonates. A second stop at a Vladivostok nightclub (whose featured entertainment is Ultimate Fighting Championship-style death matches) introduces Toorop's war buddy Finn (Mark Strong) to the team, and the four barely escape a run-in with some jumpy henchman.

Lengthy middle action sequence has them crossing the Bering Strait on snowmobiles (actually shot in Sweden), and here the place they did acting revisits the kinds of snow-filled scenes that marked his French suspenser "The Crimson Rivers". Yet as with most of this pic's fighting and effects, the reliance on extreme closeups, frenzied handheld camerawork and rapid editing leaves little room to enjoy the breathtaking views, let alone fully grasp Toorop's heroic abilities.

When they finally reach New York -- which, in this futuristic version, has a few more skyscrapers and a lot more electronic billboards -- they prepare to hand Aurora over to the pale Neolite Priestess (Charlotte Rampling, convincing but short-lived), who heads up the powerful sect/corporation that commanded the transaction. But, as previewed by the pic's initial flash-forward, the exchange does not go according to plan.

Summing up, I couldnt understand the story plot hehe as it was a bit complicated and what made it worse was that the ending was very lousy... I dun think they can attract movie freak with that stupid ending hahaa. I rate this movie only 5 out of 10.

Really pissed off with the lady

Haitsss I dunno what to say here.... Damn, I had bad mood earlier tonight when I went to the Mall with my mum to go shopping. That time I went to Nature Farm while my 2 bro accompanied my mum. I was really pissed off with the lady/ owner of the Nature's Farm who was not friendly and showed her angry face, and bad mood...... it was obvious. Huh...malas rasa ku kan bertanya arahnya ah... sasakku dah... I was just curious about the stuffs there such as vitamins and proteins. I wanna find out whats the right supplements do I need in order to do work out hehe.... Since the doctor at RIPAS Physician clinic said that I was having some kind of epilepsy (seizure disorder), so I felt tiredness anytime... whether doing any activity or not, the tablets that I eat will affect my body condition... *sigh. The purpose I went to Nature farm was just to ask the products and NOT to buy yet.. lol. But the lady keep on insisting me to see my doctor 1st, knowing my body condition. I know la what to do... And I already had appointment with PHY since 1997. What can she expect?? Seems that she was really professional. I can accept her advice but at least treat me friendly.....ani so moody. Boring ku meliat. This is not my 1st time going to that place. And I also heard from my friends about vitamins, proteins, etc. Aiya....what?? She thinks Im new to that kah??? Aiyooo
